JENNY - If you've booked a fossil trip by phone or email, chances are it is Jenny you have been communicating with. Jenny is our geologist and organises the fossil trips. She is also the owner and manager of the Island Gems shop in Godshill.
FLICK - Felicity (you can call her Flick) is our lead guide, and leads school, private and public trips. You may also find her working in the shop, and she is always happy to talk about dinosaurs - and very happy when the subject turns to sharks!
GREG - The second of our school, private and public trip guides, Greg also runs our website and makes our promotional videos . When he isn't running trips for us, Greg is also a professional juggler and escapologist!
STEVE - One of our school trip guides, Steve has also written a book about dinosaurs on the Isle of Wight. If you are very lucky you may spot Steve around the Island playing double bass with his band 'The Alberts'.
Martin - Known on the Island as 'the Fossil Man', Martin was the founder of the Island Gems Fossil Hunts before it was taken over by Jenny. Much of his time is spent in study and working on his books, although he still leads the occasional university trip.
The ISLAND GEMS Team
In the school holidays our fossil trips book up very quickly and in some cases a week in advance. Book early to avoid disappointment.
James - The youngest of our school trip guides, James works with us whenever he is not busy studying Palaeontology at university over on the mainland.
